    Dot Comics. smile

    Good.
    1. Free!!!!!!!!!!!!
    2. Actual comics that are published and exist in normal continuity. Not like the previous Cybercomics which were basically what-if type stories.
    3. Can read without having to worry about damaging you comics. A major plus to the hard-core collector.
    4. Ease of use. Point and click

    Bad
    1. The ads - I really dont have a problem with this, but as others pointed it out I listed it. I can tolerate it, because well they need something to help cover the cost of putting a free comic online.
    2. Single Panel click. Dont have a problem with this either. But I can't think of another way todo this. If you have suggestion write to marvel.

My small vain hope, NC mini-series sells so well that Marvel is justified to put the issues out as dotcomics. smile I would then have my hardcopies, the comics, and the Dot Comic version. The actual comic to sedate my need for the printed form. And the online version to help keep wear down on the real thing.

This is a short list, as I didn't have time to put too much thought into it, feel free to add to it.

THANK YOU! You people may have me double-clicking, dragging, and selecting away, but you are all so beautiful! Thanks again.
Bamfcentral has basically summed up the reasons why I like (and dislike) the dotcomics. And Fasheem, so you don't get scared, I won't say that there are others, such as me, that could ever *possibly be less patient than you tongue
Anyways, the thing about Downloading the comics though was due to the fact that this friend that I have was in dire need of such a maneuver and doesn't have access to a computer as I do. And being that there are few places around this area where to find comics at all... frown

**I aint interested in powderpuff girls or honey monster sugar puffs**
LOL! ...there's a difference? Actually, that particular ad gets me cracking up everytime it pops up...don't know why...must be the effect of it popping up right after seeing, say, Wolverine in the process of making sushi out of someone or something like that...

Oh, and don't worry gnahrf, it's a slow day today. There will surely be more action later on, sometime around 1am EST or anytime from Friday to Sunday wink

[After much toiling and fighting with the computer, IT HAS BEEN DONE! THANK YOU ALL, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! However, the Winzip that I downloaded (WinZip8.0) told me that there is a fee...either it's another WinZip prog or they might have changed their policy]

    Flash files end with .swf

The dotcomic files that are downloaded end with this .swf as well

to view them without the dotcomic player, just drag the file into a internet explorer window

    HTH smile

*shrugs* I find that clicking on the ads takes about as much time as turning the page of a real comic. (Except for the occasional crudely animated ad that takes a bit longer.) If you're waiting more than a second or two for regular ads, then... your computer is slower than mine.

And speaking of slow... why aren't you people posting more?! Man, if this goes on much longer, I'll have to start/bring back a Jeff Martin thread and talk to myself for a while! Although with KC back (even if he hasn't been posting I can sense him lurking in the shadows tongue) it wouldn't last too long.
